Armando Harlow Ronconi (Nick) is thrilled to be making his Sidekick Theatre debut. He holds a BA in Theater Arts from Marquette University but has made the Twin Cities his home since 2015. Recent credits include: From Here to Eternity as Pvt. Williams at Skylight Music Theater in Milwaukee; Million Dollar Quartet, as Elvis at the Old Log Theater, Disney on Classic ’22 Japan Tour, and Legally Blonde as Emmett Forrest at Lyric Arts. After this production he will be traveling to Las Vegas, NV to perform in A Christmas Carol. He would like to thank his friends and family for their constant love and support! Tengo Famiglia!
Mark Rosenwinkel (Frank) acting career spans over four decades, and includes work with most of the major theatres in the Twin Cities, including the Illusion (For the Loyal); the Guthrie (Peer Gynt, The Music Man, 1776,); the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre (West Side Story, Guys and Dolls); History Theatre (Sisters of Swing, Hiding in the Open); and Park Square (Medea, Romeo and Juliet). In addition, he appeared Off Broadway in the Mixed Blood production of Pure Confidence. He has received numerous awards for playwriting and his plays have been produced both nationally and internationally. As a director, he has worked over two dozen productions at Concordia University where he served as the Artistic Director for the Dept. of Music, Theatre and Dance at Concordia University, St. Paul.
Kirby Bennett (Aida) is delighted to be making her Sidekick Theatre debut! She has performed regionally at numerous companies including Park Square Theatre, Six Points Theater, Old Log, Jungle Theater, Commonweal Theatre Company, Frank Theatre, History Theatre, Paul Bunyan Playhouse and more. Kirby is the founding Artistic Director of Girl Friday Productions, for which she produced and performed in their acclaimed productions of The Skin of Our Teeth, Idiot’s Delight, The Matchmaker, Street Scene and many others. Most recently she produced and performed in Life Sucks, Girl Friday’s hit co-production with Open Eye Theatre.
Gabriele Angieri (Nunzio) has appeared on numerous Twin Cities stages including Park Square as Albany in King Lear, Duncan in Macbeth, Picasso in Behind the Eye, Marvin in The Last Seder; Frank Theatre as Father Willow in By the Bog of Cats); Gremlin Theatre as Max in Pinter’s The Homecoming; Open Window Theater as Thomas More in A Man for All Seasons; Six Points Theatre as Menachem in Our Class; Theatre in the Round as Vinnie in Simpatico; and an East Coast Tour in the title role of Tuesday’s with Morrie. Film credits include the title role in the internationally distributed “Profile of a Killer”, the award winning film “Twin Cities”, the locally produced web series “Theatre People”, and the critically acclaimed, soon to be released series “Incompleteness”. This is Gabriele’s first role with Sidekick, and his 2nd time playing the role of Nunzio.
Melinda Kordich (Emma) is delighted to be back at Sidekick Theatre after appearing in last years production of Cinderella. She has appeared at most theaters in the Twin Cities and has worked extensively in commercials, film, and television. She is grateful to be able to do what she loves.
Julia Ennen (Caitlin) is thrilled to be making her Sidekick debut! Her theatre credits include: History Theatre: Christmas of Swing, A Servants’ Christmas, Glensheen; Artistry Theatre: Some Enchanted Evening; Theatre Elision: First Lady Suite; Stages Theatre Company: Tuck Everlasting; Lakeshore Players Theatre: Singin' in the Rain; OBMT: Spelling Bee; Chameleon Theatre: Side Show, Catch Me If You Can. Julia holds an MM in Music Theatre and Adv. Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy from New York University. She runs her own private voice studio, Sing With Julia LLC, and sits on the voice faculty at Carleton College. Joe DiPietro (Playwright) Over Tthe River and Through The Woods ran in New York for over two years and has received thousands of productions across the country and around the world. DiPietro’s other plays and musicals include Memphis, (winner of the Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle awards for Best Musical), I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change (the longest-running musical revue in off-Broadway history); The Toxic Avenger and The Thing About Men (both winners of the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Off-Broadway musical); The Art of Murder (Edgar Award winner for Best Mystery Play); and the Broadway musical All Shook Up.
Brian Pierce (Stage Manager) Co-founder of Sidekick Theatre, Brian has been lucky enough to have made a lively career out of many facets of the performing arts, including as an actor, music director, playwright, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and vocalist. Brian has also performed as a session musician across the US and Europe, and worked alongside Ed Asner, Jim Brickman, Chris Thile and many others. He always extends his gratitude to his parents, who in their infinite wisdom realized early on that Brian would never be a professional baseball player, and instead encouraged his creative endeavors.
Caitlin Featherstone (Choreographer) is so happy to be back at Sidekick Theatre! Originally from the Chicagoland area, Caitlin is a Twin Cities based choreographer, actor, and educator. She has enjoyed choreographing for companies such as the Youth Actor’s Academy of Lincoln NE, St. Croix Festival Theatre, Brownville Village Theatre, Mission Theatre Company, and in public schools all around the Midwest. When not onstage or dancing, Caitlin is the Director of Education at CLIMB Theatre. For Gram.
Tim Stolz (Director / Scenic Design) is co-founder of Sidekick Theatre and has worked in theatre for many years, much of that time at the Old Log Theatre as a director, playwright, stage manager and general manager.
