Melanie Wehrmacher (Ernestine) ls making her  Sidekick debut. Credits include The Courtroom (The Jungle) Upstream (Mixed Blood) Pipeline (Penumbra); Beautiful: The Carol King Musical (Theatre L'Homme Dieu);  Superman Becomes Lois Lane, Dirty Business (History Theatre); Animal Farm: The Puppet Musical, Secret Comedy of Women (National Tours); Henry and Alice, The Language Archive (Park Square); Dancing at Lughnasa, On Golden Pond (Yellow Tree); Lend Me a Tenor, Blithe Spirit, Once Upon a Mattress (Old Log).  She is a member of Breaking Ice at Pillsbury House Theatre) Science Live at the Science Museum of Minnesota, and the Dramatists Guild of America. Tara Borman (Alice / Madeline / Ernie) is delighted to be back at Sidekick Theatre where she has performed in Incident at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Perfect Wedding, Baskerville; Cinderella, Treasure Island, Robin Hood, and The Elves and the Shoemaker. Tara’s other credits include: Theater Latte Da: She’s Come Undone (NEXT Festival), Scotland, PA . D’aniel Stock (Kenneth) was last seen at Sidekick in Fireflies. His first job was as a carnival worker; it’s all been downhill since then. D'aniel has been working as a professional theatre artist for over two decades. Recent credits include Glory and God of Carnage at Theatre in the Round, Twelfth Night and Macbeth with Southern Shakespeare Co., Our Town, A Christmas Carol, Guys & Dolls at Milwaukee Rep. He earned his MFA from the University of Georgia.

Eric Knutson (Matt / William) is thrilled to be making his debut at Sidekick.  He has per4formed at Park Square Theatre, Children’s Theatre Company, Theatre Unbound, Theatre in the Round, Jon Hassler Theatre, Jungle Theatre, History Theatre, Girl Friday, Artistry, Lyric Arts, Open Window and Commonweal Theatre Company.  He received his training at Moorhead State University and Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art.

Alex Galick (Billy / John) is excited for his Sidekick Debut! Recent credits include Come Back, Little Sheba with Dark & Stormy Prod., Fifty Boxes of Earth with Theater Mu, and Romeo and Juliet with Frosted Glass Creative, for which he won a BroadwayWorld award for best with Theater Mu, and Romeo and Juliet with Frosted Glass Creative, for which he won a BroadwayWorld award for best supporting performer. He’s also worked frequently with local companies including Guthrie Theater, Ten Thousand Things, Yellow Tree Theater, History Theater, Gray Mallard Theater Co., TigerLion Arts; regionally with Swine Palace in Louisiana, Door Shakespeare in Wisconsin, Illinois Shakespeare Festival, Utah Shakespeare Festival, and on camera in Feature Films V/H/S/85 and Scare Package 2. Sarah Dickson (Joan / Alex / Beth) Originally from Kansas, Sarah is a graduate from the University of Minnesota, Duluth where she received her BFA in Acting. Recent works include supporting roles in the films Unholy Communion, The Mourning After, and Monitored, as well as a featured role in the “I Was There” series for the History Channel. Local theatre credits include Sidekick Theatre's Perfect Wedding and A Christmas Carol - A Musical Review, Open Window Theatre's Crime and Punishment, Stage North's Mauritius, Yellow Tree and Frosted Glass Creatives' co-production of Seven Keys, Frosted Glass Creative's Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, It's a Wonderful Life, and A Christmas Carol, and Yellow Tree Theatre's Another Miracle on Christmas Lake. In addition to other commercial, print, and voice-over work in the Twin Cities, Sarah is a proud teaching artist at Stages Theatre Company and Lundstrum Performing Arts. 

Ariel Bodnar-Klein (ASM & Understudy) Previous credits with Sidekick include Elves and the Shoemaker, Fireflies, and Robin Hood. Ariel wears many hats around the Twin Cities including work as an over-hire electrician, stage manager, run crew member, and front of house manager. She is still journeying to find her place in the scale of the universe.

Noah Haidle (Playwright) is an award-winning playwright whose work has been seen on six continents and Birthday Candles was produced on Broadway by Roundabout Theatre Co. in 2022. A graduate of Princeton and Juilliard, Noah lives with his perfect wife Kelsey, their heaven-sent son Butch, a dog, a bunny, and a blue lobster named Suzanne.

Brian Pierce (Stage Manager) Co-founder of Sidekick Theatre, Brian has been lucky enough to have made a lively career out of many facets of the performing arts, including as an actor, music director, playwright, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and vocalist. Brian has also performed as a session musician across the US and Europe, and worked alongside Ed Asner, Jim Brickman, Chris Thile and many others. He always extends his gratitude to his parents, who in their infinite wisdom realized early on that Brian would never be a professional baseball player, and instead encouraged his creative endeavors.

Tim Stolz (Director / Scenic Design) is co-founder of Sidekick Theatre and has worked in theatre for many years, much of that time at the Old Log Theatre as a director, playwright, stage manager and general manager.
