Kirby Bennett (Abby Brewster) is delighted to return to Sidekick Theatre, having previously played Grace in Fireflies and Aida in Over the River and Through the Woods. She has appeared regionally at numerous companies including Park Square Theatre, Six Points Theater, Old Log, Jungle Theater, Commonweal Theatre Company, Frank Theatre, History Theatre, Paul Bunyan Playhouse, and more. Kirby is the founding and emeritus Artistic Director of Girl Friday Productions, for which she produced and performed in their acclaimed productions of Life Sucks (co-production with Open Eye Theatre), The Skin of Our Teeth, Idiot’s Delight, The Matchmaker, Street Scene and many others.
Edwin Strout (Rev. Harper/Gibbs/Mr. Witherspoon) is so excited to be making his debut with Sidekick Theatre. In the 34 years that Edwin has been performing in the Twin Cities, he has worked with over 53 different theater companies in over 100 roles. Most recently, he wrote and performed in I’m Afraid, I Have To Leave and The Jaws That Bite, The Claws That Catch! for Joking Apart Theater, performed as Rogers in And Then There Were None at Lyric Arts, The Duke in The Two Gentlemen of Verona at Frosted Glass Creative, and The Narrator in I’ll Be Home For Kahless with Just Us Theater. Upcoming Productions: Hay Fever at Prime Productions, and The First Lady of Television at Six Points Theater.
D’aniel Stock (Teddy Brewster) labored as a carnival worker for his first job; it’s all been downhill since then. D'aniel has been working as a professional theatre artist for over two decades. Recent credits include Birthday Candles and Fireflies at Sidekick; The Cake, Glory, and God of Carnage at Theatre in the Round; Twelfth Night and Macbeth with Southern Shakespeare Co.; Our Town, A Christmas Carol, and Guys & Dolls at Milwaukee Rep. He earned his MFA from the University of Georgia.
Tyler Haines (Officer Brophy) has been in various theater productions and film projects around the Twin Cities and Western WI. Tyler is excited to be working with everyone on this great show, and wants to thank his family and friends for their continued love and support.
Rob Ward (Officer Klein / u/s. Officer O’Hara) is an actor, writer, and choreographer making his seventh appearance with Sidekick Theatre. Previous Sidekick appearances include Robin Hood, The Elves and the Shoemaker, The Emperor's New Clothes, Cinderella, Fantastic Mr.Fox, and Little Red Riding Hood. Rob has also worked with Open Window Theatre, DayTrippers Theatre, The Zephyr Theatre, Frosted Glass Creative, The Old Gem Theater, Actors Theater of MN, and the Murder Mystery Company. A playwright, two of his original one-man shows, How To Kill A Horse! and Welcome To The Food Chain won Minnesota Fringe Golden Lanyard Awards in 2023 and 2024. Melinda Kordich (Martha Brewster) has appeared at Sidekick in Over The River and Through The Woods, Fireflies and Perfect Wedding. She has worked on stage, film, TV, voice-over, and now puppetry.
Sarah Dickson (Elaine Harper), originally from Kansas, is a graduate from the University of Minnesota, Duluth where she received her BFA in Acting. Recent works include supporting roles in the films Unholy Communion, The Mourning After, and Monitored, as well as a featured role in the “I Was There” series for the History Channel. Local theatre credits include Sidekick’a Birthday Candles, Perfect Wedding, and A Christmas Carol, Open Window Theatre's Crime and Punishment, Stage North's Mauritius, Yellow Tree and Frosted Glass' co-production of Seven Keys, Frosted Glass Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, It's a Wonderful Life, and A Christmas Carol, and Yellow Tree Theatre's Another Miracle on Christmas Lake. In addition to other commercial, print, and voice-over work in the Twin Cities, Sarah is a proud teaching artist at Stages Theatre Co. and Lundstrum Performing Arts.
Cody Carlson (Mortimer Brewster) is excited to be making his Sidekick Theatre debut! Cody received his BFA from the University of Minnesota/Guthrie Theater BFA Actor Training Program. Since graduating, he has performed with the Chanhassen Dinner Theatres (Grease, Beautiful, Jersey Boys), the Guthrie Theater (A Christmas Carol), Artistry Theater (Kiss Me, Kate), Park Square Theatre (A Chorus Line) and Paul Bunyan Playhouse (The Play That Goes Wrong) among others. When not onstage, Cody directs the theatre department at Lakeville South High School and is currently working on Twelfth Night, and also teaches at SPCPA! “A great big thank you to Dayle, my family, and my friends!” IG: @codycarlson98
Zach Curtis (Jonathan Brewster) makes his Sidekick debut, as well as his first stage appearance in the Twin Cities in over 10 years, having traversed the country as an Artistic Director at theaters in MN (Paul Bunyan Playhouse, Fifty Foot Penguin Theatre), SD (Black Hills Community Theatre) and NY (Chenango River Theatre). He is now the Executive and Artistic Director of Theatre L’Homme Dieu in Alexandria, MN. He is thrilled to add Jonathan to his growing resume of psychopaths and sociopaths, including Harry Roat, Macbeth, Shane Mungitt, Alvin Karpis, Killer Joe Cooper, Frankenstein’s Creature, Audrey II, Col. Jessep, and Professor Harold Hill. This one is for Michael Lee.
Michael Quadrozzi (Dr. Einstein) is a Twin Cities-based actor, storyteller, and playwright raised in the hills of western Massachusetts. Michael has been acting since high school and passionately believes that the vulnerability of shared spaces makes live theatre magical, intimate, and healing. Recent local credits include Speed in The Two Gentleman of Verona (Frosted Glass Creative), the French Herald in Joan of Arc (Open Window Theater), and Charlie in On Golden Pond (Minnetonka Theater). He has also performed with Six Points Theater, Pillsbury House, Yellow Tree, BARD Shakes, Lyric Arts, Wonderlust Productions, Theatre Pro Rata, Wayward Theatre, Paul Bunyan Playhouse among others. His self-produced and written solo show, Against My Will, won the Golden Lanyard Staff Pick at the 2025 Minnesota Fringe Festival. A full-time freelance actor, he performs in commercial and independent film, and works with several companies training first responders in mental health crisis intervention. You can see him next in The Unseen at St. Cloud's Gnarly Bard Theater next February.
Tucker Stone (Officer O’Hara) (he/him) is stoked to be making his debut at Sidekick Theatre. Credits include Expressions: Calendar Girls; Hard Line Theater: True West; Dirty Feet Theatre: Go Home!, On the Brink; Johnny Theatre: Red & Black, Long Route. Film: Now and Then, Quiet City. TV: Alex Haley’s Queen. Training: Atlantic Theater Company, Upright Citizen’s Brigade, Gym Jones. In addition to performing, Tucker represents the United States on the International Board on Books for Young People’s Executive Committee. His wife and daughter are the joy and center of his life.
Peter Colburn (Lieut. Rooney, u/s Jonathan Brewster) has performed in many of Sidekick’s children’s shows over the years, including The Elves and the Shoemaker, Robin Hood, Cinderella, and The Wizard of Oz. Originally from Michigan, Peter has worked for over 45 years with theaters all around the country. Some of those in the Twin Cities include: the Jungle Theater, the Brave New Workshop, the Children’s Theatre Company, Open Window Theatre, and recently a production of A Perfect Arrangement with Walking Shadow Theatre. Though the Twin Cities is once again his home, Peter did spend ten years living in Los Angeles, where he briefly appeared on episodes of Criminal Minds and The Mentalist.
Iris Brantseg (u/s Elaine Harper) is excited to be working alongside the talented cast of Arsenic and Old Lace at Sidekick Theatre. Her recent work includes various projects with Running Errands MN, and Camille in Insomnia Dogs at the 2025 Minnesota Fringe Festival. Iris has focused primarily on on-camera projects the last few years and has worked with companies including Best Buy, Target, and the Mayo Clinic. Outside of performing, Iris enjoys painting, drawing, and spending time outdoors.

Luke Aaron Davidson (u/s Teddy Brewster) is a professional actor and theatre collaborator who has worked with numerous companies across the Twin Cities, including Artistry, Old Log Theatre, History Theatre, Open Eye Theatre, Lakeshore Players, and others. In addition to performing, Luke also works as a resident playwright for CLIMB Theatre, developing educational musicals for students across Minnesota and surrounding states. Coming up next, Luke is directing an adaptation of Puss in Boots here at Sidekick Theatre, which he also wrote.
Michelle Myers (u/s Abby Brewster, Martha Brewster) has been on various area stage including Park Square, History Theatre, Old Log, the Ordway, and more. Her work for Sidekick has included both Radio Gals (Hazel) and The Incident at Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Jo). Her professional voiceover career spans over 30 years with clients ranging from General Mills, Target, Best Buy, Hardees, and Raymond James Insurance to Medtronic, 3M, and Medica among others. Recent audiobooks include the Pat Dennis Betty Chance Mystery series and a variety of multi-voice projects, like the recently released Strongwood. Michelle also enjoys work as a professional tour guide.
Ross Young (u/s Dr. Einstein, Lieut. Rooney, Rev. Harper/Gibbs/Mr. Witherspoon) has a theatrical resume that speaks for itself, confounding casting directors across the Midwest. He has appeared at many venues in the Twin Cities area and has even performed at a few of them. Last summer Ross played Pastor Gunderson at the Paul Bunyan Playhouse in Church Basement Ladies. Earlier in the year he was partnered to play the Wizard in The Unlabeled Theatre’s production of Once Upon a Mattress. Up next this Christmas, Ross will portray Clarence the Angel and the evil Mr. Potter in It’s a Wonderful Life: The Radio Play for the 20th year running at The Saint Paul Hotel.
Tim Stolz (Director / Scenic Design) is co-founder of Sidekick Theatre and has worked in theatre for many years, much of that time at the Old Log Theatre as a director, playwright, stage manager and general manager.
