Excitement runs high in this thrilling new musical adaptation of the favorite adventure story. Enter Sherwood Forrest with Robin Hood, the legendary hero! Wielding a bow and arrow, Robin and his merry men join forces to stand up for what’s right. But in this hilarious new take on the fabled story, Robin and his friends are full of hijinks, clowning and fun—and they’ll include the audience in the action. Don’t be surprised if you’re asked to yell out, “They went that way!” or cheer, “Long live Robin Hood!” in this swashbuckling musical. It’s great fun for all ages.

Caleb Cabiness (Robin Hood) holds a B.A. in Theatre from Wake Forest University, where he concentrated in acting and playwriting. Rob Ward (Will Scarlet)  is an actor, writer, and choreographer making his sixth appearance with Sidekick Theatre. Previous Sidekick shows include Elves and the Shoemaker, The Emperor's New Clothes, Cinderella, Fantastic Mr. Fox, and Little Red Riding Hood. In the past, Rob has worked with many local companies including Oncoming Productions, DayTrippers Theatre, the BAND Group, and Actors Theater of MN. He is also a frequent performer/producer in the Minnesota Fringe Festival. In addition to onstage work, Rob has acted in film, television, music videos, web series, and podcasts. Julian Sjoquist (Marian) is thrilled to be back performing in her third show with Sidekick Theatre! Jillian is a rising senior BFA Musical Theatre major at the University of Oklahoma. Other credits include Sidekick Theatre: Little Red Riding Hood (Little Red), The Emperor’s New Clothes (Trudi), OU Credits: A New Brain (Rhoda), and Legally Blonde (Kate/Delta Nu). Luke Aaron Davidson (Little John) is making his debut with Sidekick Theatre. He is a stage and film actor/director who has worked on numerous productions. Other theaters Luke has worked with include Artistry, Old Log Theatre, Open Eye Theatre, Actors Theatre of MN, Bunce Performing Arts, and Cidermill Playhouse. Fjaere Harder (Meg & Katherine) was first seen on Sidekick’s stage with The Elves and the Shoemaker. She has acted locally with Lyric Arts, MN Actor's Theatre, National Theatre for Children, St. Croix Off Broadway Dinner Theatre, and Fringe 2019. She has also acted with Arundel Barn Playhouse (Maine), Blue Gate Theatre (Indiana), Reagle Music Theatre (Boston), the Strawberry Festival in NYC, and Fanny Hill Dinner Theatre (WI). Peter Colburn (Prince John)  has appeared previously at Sidekick Theatre in The Elves and the Shoemaker. Originally from Michigan, Peter has worked for over 40 years with Theatres all around the country.  Some in the Twin Cities include: The Jungle Theatre, Hero Now Theatre, The Brave New Workshop, Troupe America Prods, The Children’s Theatre Company,  Bucket Brigade, Full Circle Theatre Company, and recently with Stages Theatre Company on their production of All American Boys. Though the Twin Cities is once again his home, Peter spent ten years living in Los Angeles, where he briefly appeared on episodes of  ”Criminal Minds,” and “The Mentalist.”

Carl Swanson (Sheriff of Nottingham) is happy to be back with Sidekick Theatre where he has performed in Fantastic Mr. Fox and Treasure Island. Carl is a Stage and Film Actor based in the Twin Cities. He grew up in Hawley, MN and got his degree from Univ. of WI - Stevens Point. Credits include: National Tour: NOEL the Musical. Tara Borman (Friar Tuck) has appeared previously at Sidekick Theatre in The Elves and the Shoemaker and Baskerville. After several national tours as one of the original cast members of the Church Basement Ladies series, and performing on the six star Silversea cruise ships for two seasons, Tara returned home to Minnesota and settled down with a "real" job, adopted a senior chihuahua named "Happy", and hunkered down throughout the unprecedented and eventful past two years. Tara is brimming with joy to once again have the opportunity to perform. Thanks to Tim and Brian for bringing me back to the stage!

Tim Stolz (Playwright, Director) is co-founder of Sidekick Theatre who has worked in theatre for many years, much of that time at the Old Log Theatre as a director, playwright, stage manager and general manager. 

Brian Pekol (Music & Lyrics) Co-founder of Sidekick Theatre, Brian has been lucky enough to have made a lively career out of many facets of the performing arts, including as an actor, music director, playwright, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and vocalist. Most recently seen on stage in Sweetland (History Theatre), Brian has also performed as a session musician across the US and Europe, and worked alongside Ed Asner, Jim Brickman, Chris Thile and many others. He always extends his gratitude to his parents, who in their infinite wisdom realized early on that Brian would never be a professional baseball player, and instead encouraged his creative endeavors.
